A little behind on blogging, but I’m getting ready to send this gallery out and just had to write a blog first!

Lauren and Cory are one of my favorite couples. I hadn’t seen them for almost a year since we had their engagement session but it was like no time had passed when I arrived on their wedding day. They, along with their families, welcomed me into their home as if I was a part of the family. It was like almost 100 degrees out that day and they made sure I had enough water and snacks throughout the day. Honestly, it’s such a small thing, but means so much to a photographer. Especially on a hot day like that. Their kindness is radiating, but the love between Lauren and Cory outshined everything that day. It was evident that if any two people were meant to be together, it was these two. Lauren and Cory met in high school but when Cory went away for the Army, they broke up. They found their way back to each other and everything else is history. Cory set up a proposal during a game of Heads Up along with their friends. He got her to guess the word proposal and when she turned around he was down on one knee. I love how fun this proposal was. Marry your best friend people!!!

The day of the wedding, they were both so excited to get married, the entire ceremony was filled with smiles, and happy tears and a solid spin down the aisle to celebrate.
