Mr. and Mrs. Nicole Byrd

After crossing paths at a basketball tournament, Michael and Nicole officially met like any other couple in the 21st century, on Facebook. Michael and Nicole spend their time with their daughters Novella, Kiara, Ayanna, Lailah.

“Our proposal was in November of 2018 the day of the Ohio State and Michigan game at half time. I chose that day because Nicole is a Michigan fan and they were having a good year so I thought they would win the game that day to make that day very special for her. Of course they lost the game, but we won the victory of starting our forever together. She said “yes” as we were surrounded by family and friends at her parents house.”

After changing their date 3 times due to COVID, they finally landed on a wedding date of June 26th, 2021. Michael reached out to me and told me he had a surprise for his soon-to-be wife. He hired Major, who sings their first song, “Why I Love You” to come sing their song in person as she walked down the aisle. Nicole was so surprised and shocked when she heard his voice live. It was such a beautiful ceremony, filled with love, family, and God. The reception followed and they were serenaded by Major under string lights in the middle of the dance floor as they danced together for the first time as Husband and Wife.

It was such a beautiful, emotional, and romantic night. Congrats to the newlyweds.
